Shadow Legion earns 4th in the SPPL Utah Rookie Division May 2008.
Copacetic, KatSplat, Boo, Nightlizard, Maverick, Iceman, Phoenix, Colt, Scooby, Hurley, Freakshow, Mother Goose, Nighthawk, Crypt Keeper, and and Ralf competed in three games.  They played the Suicide Kings (a great team with good attitudes) from Las Vegas, Nevada, Black Light Company (very organized team) from Colorado, and Feel the Paint (another awesome team) also from Colorado.  P-Dog, Little Frog, and Cobalt were the best Pod-Monkeys at this event.  Colt and Scooby were stars.  On the official SPPL website, seven out of the first ten pictures are of them.  Nighthawk showed some skill holding off the invading BLC in the first half of that game.  Hurley stepped his game up to another level and earned a solid place on the top 10.  Everyone else played their hearts out as well.

On the way to Utah, Freakshow's car broke down.  We loaded all of the gear and all 12 people into a three-seater pick-up and traveled the rest of the way...lookin' like the Beverly Hilbillies.

Copacetic spent the entire last half of the game with BLC hunkered in a bunker trying not to let the refs see him peak through his nose grill of his mask.  His lens was completely covered with water and he could not see at all.  Colt kept saying that the OPFOR was en-route to his location.  They never made it due to the awesome play of Scooby.

Also, Crypt Keeper loaned his marker to a team mate in the game against FTP and hunkered in a bunker clutching a grenade.  He planned to wait until the OPFOR was close and 'Allahu Akbar' them.

A special thanks to Ralf's mother that bailed the team out more times than one could imagine.

Shadow Legion High School Team earns 4th in the first annual NSSM Tournament.
Nighthawk, Ralf, Phoenix, Hurley, and Boo (formerly Argon...stop changing your call-sign lol) played well.  The last game, they swept the OPFOR off of the field in less than 7 minutes with only one SLPB player eliminated.  Strong-side...imagine that!
